Accessibility is important to us
We want visitors to get as much as possible out of their visits and to enjoy their time in the Museum.
Artsi follows safer-space principles. Safer-space principles here.
Obstacle-free entrance
There is obstacle-free entry to Artsi via the Myyrmäki House main entrance and lobby. The main entrance is on Paalutori Square. The main-entrance doors open automatically.
On Fridays after 16:00 and on Sundays, when the rest of Myyrmäki House is closed, Artsi can be accessed by its own entrance on Paalutori Square. Artsi’s own entrance door does not open automatically.
Barrier-free toilet
The toilet is in the Myyrmäki House lobby, in a 170 cm-wide corridor besides Artsi’s foyer. Before getting to the toilet there is a pillar that makes the corridor 120 cm wide.
The toilet door has a 3 cm threshold and the door handle is at a height of 100 cm.
Museum visitors can request the toilet key from Artsi’s customer-service desk or the Myyrmäki House help desk.
Barrier-free parking
There are accessible parking spaces near the lifts at both ends of Myyrmanni Shopping Centre parking garage. From the ground floor of the Shopping Centre there is barrier-free access to Paalutori Square, and from there to Artsi via the Myyrmäki House main entrance.
